Which is the Best Stand Mixer 2022?

Many different mixers on the market with different prices so it’s too hard to know which is the best stand mixer and pick up one of them, right? each offering its own sets of features, pros and cons, and of course, price. Price is a major difference in this appliance. It is essential that you understand the differences in the models so that you get exactly what you want and need in your stand mixer.

I have tested 9 stand mixers in total and I have used almost (just almost, not all, sorry) mixers below for at least 2 years. The only one I haven’t worked with is Hamilton stand mixer. My friend, Kim, have used it for 3 years and she told me about her feeling about it. Then I write down everything I know about these 5 stand mixers.

So, the question is why you should trust me. And here is my answer, I have worked with stand mixers for ten years in my kitchen.  My first one is Bosch, the gift from my uncle when I was a little girl (now it’s old but still works). I mostly use it to whip coconut whipped cream, mix cookie dough, make frosting, pastries, and knead pizza. You know, all I write below is my real kitchen experiences so do believe me 🙂

KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus 5-Quart Stand Mixer

Another quality KitchenAid Product, the KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus 5-quart mixer is available in several unique colors to match any kitchen décor, including red, crystal blue, majestic yellow, and white.
The 5 Plus series stand mixer offers a 450-watt motor, as well as 10-speed settings for you to choose from. This is enough power/settings to handle a large amount of dough at one time.

The mixer features a soft-start feature. This feature starts your mixing slowly and gradually increases the speed, which reduces splashes and messes from coming out of the bowl. Auto-shutoff is another feature of this machine.

There is a 5-quart stainless steel bowl on this machine, but there is no handle, which is a bit disappointing for many users. The beater on the machine is one of the most impressive features, however, as it turns clockwise while the shaft turns counterclockwise. This is a unique feature not found on most other stand mixers.

One complaint that a few users have with this machine is that it just suddenly, and without warning, breaks down. For most people that endure this experience, it is after continued use of the machine for an extended period of time. Although this machine isn’t as powerful as some of the others we have mentioned here, KitchenAid Classic Plus 4.5-qt. Stand Mixer is still fairly capable of accommodating many kitchens with ease. If you are someone that has a small family or will not require constant use of a stand mixer, this is a cost-effective machine that is certainly worth your money and time.

The mixer features a 275- watt motor, which is capable of handling up to 7 cups of flour at once. The problem with this, however, is that pushing the machine to meet this demand on a constant basis can result in a breakdown of the machine.

There is a 4.5-quart bowl with the stand mixer, and it features 59-point planetary mixing capabilities. This KitchenAid mixer has 10-speed settings. Attachments included with the machine include a dough hook, 6-wire whip, and a flat beater. Additional attachments can be purchased if desired.

One of the biggest complaints that users have of this KitchenAid mixer is the durability factor. Although it is not a cheaply made machine, some customers have reported that it is not quite as durable as what they would expect from a KitchenAid product.

Despite a bit of negative feedback, this KitchenAid mixer is large enough to make a difference in the kitchen.
